Treasury to propose major regulation changes

Hank Paulson to speak Monday on a major "reform" plan.

At first blush, it looks like Teasury will propose a lot of regulatory streamlining that major financial firms have been pushing for.

The WSJ and NYT have stories.

The NYT says credit default swaps won't be regulated. And it's unclear if the plan calls for increased scrutiny of hedge funds.
