Hussman: Time for the economy to put up

Put up or shut up. That's the question now for the economy, says John Hussman.

Hussman says the next 12 to 16 weeks are critical in gauging whether this recovery is for real.

"Essentially, we have now entered the window in which growth – not simply slowing of deterioration – is required to support the idea of an economic recovery. The next 12-16 weeks will be the first hurdle on that front," he says.
